I have provided training on communicating science in various forms and formats to early career researchers in Finland for more than a decade, primarily through the University of Helsinki. Following a career in international public health and development aid, I returned to the academy as an instructor and editor, to design and deliver workshops and courses on research skills—such as manuscript and grant writing as well as presenting research—for scholars at various stages of their careers.

I currently spend my time obsessing over matters of language and style in English for my clients and mentoring my peers and early career researchers on communicating science more efficiently and effectively.
